Songs of Hope is a community of Seattle-area musicians, artists, and others who dedicate to offer ongoing support to the Japan’s recovery effort.  Immediately after the Great East Earthquake and Tsunami occurred in 2011, which caused Fukushima Nuclear Disaster, Songs of Hope started the benefit concert series and extended to other activities such as organizing a community choir "Chorus of Hope" and a bake sale group "Nadeshiko Bakery."

“Chorus of Hope” was formed for the first memorial concert on March 11, 2012.  Over 120 amateur singers from Greater Seattle gathered and impressed the audience with their heartfelt performance.  Since then, Chorus of Hope has regularly appeared at memorial events.
